Off to the races...

Well it is official. My 1 year old daughter has started walking. She no longer requires the aid of both her hands and her knees to get her around. Life again has changed around the Carter household.

Sick of it!

The Moment!

This was the exact moment that my son realized a little something had been left for him. His soccer ball Easter basket was filled with Monster Trucks, a Milk Chocolate Bunny, and a few other goodies. He devoured the bunny and put on a great monster truck demonstration.

Thanks Jonathan Carter

The first person that I am aware of, outside my personal sphere of influence, to read my blog was none other than... Jonathan Carter.

I quickly realized that we had something in common. Apparently he also suffers form the brutal miss-spelling of his name in South Africa. I would like to thank him for creating the wonderful image below. I will be forwarding it to the multiple people that daily destroy the spelling of my name.

Meltdown

Today 5:30pm Hit and I was enjoying throwing a football with my co-workers however 15 miles down the road my wife was physically escorting my three and a half year old son out of Kroger.

The Lowdown:

Apparently my son saw some well positioned toy and had to have it. When his hopes were dashed with a "no" he lost all functions, dropped to the floor, and screamed at some crazy pitch that resembled a tornado siren. My wife abandoned the grocery cart and thankfully a kind lady took my 1 year old daughter while my wife got the "chaos" out of the store. Two additional women rushed out of Kroger to encourage my wife (God Bless You Both). They claimed to have also experience the wrath of a three and a half year old.

P.S. To the poor stock boy that had to put up everything in the cart... my deepest apologies.

Zach's Nightmare

So, I have entered a competition to sell (on eBay)this wonderful "Nightmare Before Christmas" watch at a higher profit than a co-worker of mine.

Please feel free to bid at the link below and help me get a free lunch.

UPDATE:
I received no bids on this sweet watch so... I traded it for a package of mayo after hearing about this. I then traded it for two chocolate bars, that then was traded for a Nerf basket ball and goal worth $17 which I am willing to trade as well.

You know what causes that?

Congrats to Zach and Jessi Brown! My personal guess is twins!

Wind Storm = $275

The wind storm of 08" that delayed so many of my co-workers from getting to work. Ripped $275 worth of shingles off my roof. Just enough to come under what my insurance premium is. However... If this happens to you call Academy Roofing. The roofer took older shingles from a part of the roof you do not see and replaced the damaged area with them. So there is no way you can tell it was damaged. The new shingles that are a little off in color are hidden from sight. Thanks for going the extra mile Academy!!!
